Ordering and Checkout

You can browse by type of herbal preparation, for specific herbs, and by single herb or herbal blends. Simply compile your cart and then proceed to our 1-step checkout where you enter your name, email address, shipping address, preferred shipping method, and payment method. You can add any comments and apply any discount codes that you have. An Order Summary will be shown that shows the cart sub-total and the shipping cost, with the total cost that will be charged to your payment method. Before clicking Place Order, be sure to check to accept our Terms of Use. Your email address will be used to send you your order confirmation after purchase and notifications of order status changes, including shipping and tracking information.

Payment methods

We accept any U.S.-issued and most internationally-issued magstripe or chip cards bearing a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay logo. We accept mobile wallets, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay, and Cash App. We also accept payments through Etsy.

Payment processing

All payments are processed through Square. Square's APIs, hardware, and software are compliant with PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and EMV regulations. From the time you enter your credit card information online, or tap, dip, or swipe a credit card, the data is encrypted until it reaches Square's processing environment. Customer data never touches our servers. Please view our Security Policy, which is part of our Privacy Policy, for full details on the safe-guarding of our website and the operation of our business.

Taxes

Taxes are 6.5%, which is based on the local Volusia County sales tax, 0.5%, and the state sales tax, 6%. Taxes are not applied to herbs and herbal supplements.

Order changes and cancellations

Please review your cart carefully for order accuracy prior to submitting your order. If you need to make any changes or if you wish to request a cancellation of your order, please contact us as soon as possible after the order has been submitted to us. Please note that there are no guarantees that a request for cancellation of an order is possible once the order has been submitted. If you need assistance with an order that has been submitted on our website, please call us immediately.

Issues with credit card approval

If your credit card was declined, your information was entered incorrectly, or there are issues with the card, please try a new payment method and contact your financial institution for more information regarding the decline.

Shipping and Delivery

Once an order has been made, an order confirmation email will be sent. Orders are confirmed and processed Monday through Saturday, excluding major holidays, within 24 hours of purchase and then shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail and delivered within 1 to 3 days, Monday through Saturday. Orders placed on Sunday will be processed within 24 hours of the next business day. If an order requires communication or confirmation from a customer, order processing resumes after the communication is received, whether by email or phone. A shipping update with tracking information will be emailed to you when the order enters the USPS system and has been shipped out from our apothecary. You can track your orders in real-time in My Account My Orders.

All shipments are packed using paper-based materials that are recyclable, biodegradable, and reusable, and they are sealed with packing tape that is 100% plant-derived, renewable, and naturally biodegradable. We do not use any plastic or styrofoam in our shipments. Our shipping labels are recyclable, paper-based, uncoated, not waterproof, and easy to remove. They are made from recycled content that is 100% post-consumer waste material (PCW). USPS delivers to every address in the United States, so our shipments dismiss the need to take an "extra trip" in order for a package to be delivered. USPS is committed to integrating sound environmental business practices into day-to-day operations to deliver a greener tomorrow. Shipping rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. The shipping rates are based on the total weight of the item(s) purchased and the destination. There is no additional surcharge for Saturday delivery. For more information about USPS Priority Mail, visit the USPS website here. For purchases $100.00 or more, shipping is free.

Order tracking

Once an order has been made, an order confirmation email will be sent. A shipping update with tracking information will be emailed to you when the order enters the USPS system and has been shipped out from our apothecary. Tracking in real-time can be done in My Account My Orders or through the USPS website here.

Returns and refunds

Because of the nature of our business, all purchases made are final and no returns are made. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us immediately so that we can make things right with you.

Damaged or lost orders during shipping

Although our shipments are carefully and securely packaged and shipped, accidents can happen. We are not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. USPS Priority Mail is insured. If you received your order damaged or you never received it and it is lost in the mail, please file a claim with USPS, as soon as possible. Save all packaging materials, the USPS Priority Mail tracking number, your Wild Meadow Apothecary receipt to show proof of value, and damaged goods before filing a claim. When your mail item is lost, you should file a claim no later than 60 days from the date of mailing. If your item is damaged or missing contents, you should file a claim immediately but not later than 60 days from the date of mailing.

To file online, log in to or create a USPS.com account. Your claim case will be associated with your account. You will be able to save your claim to finish later if you cannot complete the form in one session. Once you have filed a claim, you can see it in your Claim History. Keep all your evidence documents until the claim is resolved.

If you filed a claim, please contact us so that we are aware of any issue, can file any necessary claim ourselves, and so that we can make things right with you.

Incorrect shipping address

Please keep your address updated in My Account Address Book. You are responsible for providing a correct shipping address. We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it is recognized as a valid address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact you to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded. We will not be held responsible if you provide the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.

International shipping

We do not ship internationally.
